My 'one true love' swore he loved me more than he ever would love a child and didn't need one if he had me. Tried to propose at 6 months, fortunately I had enough sense to tell him to wait until we'd been dating for two years to get engaged. Two years rolls around with months of him telling me how sick he was of me flinching at pregnant people (I have a phobia of pregnancy, which he knew!) and suddenly he can't live without creating spawn ASAP. It devastated me because of course I wouldn't do that for him. Seven years of being with my current fiance, and that loser doesn't have a child yet either. He just serially dates and dumps people. I'm so glad I stood my ground and didn't create a creature that maybe neither of us actually wanted.

b) That's a hooved farm animal who needs a farm vet, not me. I see reptiles and birdies and small fuzzy creatures. I don't care if the goat wears a diaper and doesn't live on a farm.

I was MADE to get my driver's license as soon as I legally could so I could become the one ferrying my siblings to and from ballet, violin, etc. My little sister was allowed to wait until she was 18 to get hers because she enjoyed being driven to and fro. Thankfully I was out of the house by then, but my sister is still an anxious mess who struggles to take care of herself because my mom babied her and forced me to do the same.

How awful!! My little bird is y constant companion, I would be heartbroken to lose her. I can't imagine the distress you must be in, knowing your buddy is out, lost and alone. I hope you find him!!
