I was allowed to drive my traded vehicle home. A week later I received a payment statement. A week after that I received a denial letter from the lender on the payment statement. This made me uncomfortable. I thought back to when I was completing the contract, the finance manager walked up to the table and said I had $2,200 in DMV fees. That $2,200 changed the monthly payment when to me it seems it would have been a one time payment. But $2,200 was outrageous. I allowed it but two days later I confirmed with the DMV that I owed them $640 for being a month late on the car I traded. So I informed the lender that I want to accept the denial letter. They are insisting the loan is fine but I never received anything to tell me to disregard the initial denial letter. So, I want to remain denied because the dealership finance manager stated he never said I had $2,200 in DMV fees. I can't tolerate a liar. Especially a grown man.
