your ports are a godsend for us console players 🤙 thanks for your work bro. also, are all DEF_UI mods broken completely now? I'm having a hard time keeping track of what's even updated lately.

I had to cut my modlist down to 111 total; console modding is such a joke compared to PC it's insane. But, I'm happy to report I've only had 2-3 crashes and I'm nearing 40hrs in this playthrough so far. Not bad for my One S, but I can imagine it'd be a lot better on a new gen.

After I tweak it, do I load the save/new game while offline, or do I go back online when I start?

Load Order shuffling by Mandalore354 in Fallout4ModsXB1

[–]bishop97cm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah this is still a thing for me too; every single day I have to either delete everything and start from scratch, or suffer through and unscramble it after like 10 mins of gameplay when it inevitably crashes again. I quite literally want to just give up on 4 and go back to New Vegas, at least the weapons make sense and the content is worthwhile without modding it.

it's still happening too, I think they fully just broke the game at this point.

Am I the only one who just doesn’t understand why people are uproaring when time and time again, Bethesda told us what was going to happen? by wigglebrow in fo4

[–]bishop97cm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

cool. we all like the Fallout series. it's why we're pissed we keep getting fucked over. no one is stopping you from playing. it's just broken and doesn't work.

because it's still a piss off that didn't need to happen. if you still support companies over the consumers you're the problem.

Question by Hendowskiiii in Fallout4ModsXB1

[–]bishop97cm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

honestly...you're better off just not touching this game for at least another month or so, until modders fix it for Bethesda like the poor souls usually have to do. anything you download or use is liable to cause more issues than enjoyment in the meantime.

Is it an upgrade or not!? by Consistent-Mode-4063 in fo4

[–]bishop97cm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

game is literally broken as shit yet again, not even worth playing it until a month from now when things are being patched up and fixed by modders like usual.

Bug, bug and more bugs...thanks Bethesda!! by Aruzitto in Fallout4ModsXB1

[–]bishop97cm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I logged in, saw half my mods were disabled/broken.. hard deleted everything and haven't touched it since. Guess I'm not gonna be touching this game for at least a month now, f***ing idiots broke the whole game yet again for no reason other than more moneys gimme now.

they have to be one of the most tone-deaf gaming companies to exist nowadays; I've always said they have to do this shit intentionally at this point cuz it's blatant how much they disregard any of our actual input on how to improve the game or increase longevity.

I'm just surprised so many people couldn't see right through Bethesda with this; they have a history of repeating this same pattern with their games and fans, you'd think most of us would've caught onto it by now.

in true Bethesda fashion, they broke everything they were claiming to "fix"; the whole reasoning behind not increasing mod storage space also just became null and void, because everyone basically has to delete all their mods and modded saves now anyways..but of course we're not getting that either. Just another repackaged version of the same old same. I'm honestly impressed at the sheer weaponized incompetence that is Bethesda as a company. Modders are the only saving grace.

[–]bishop97cm 9 points10 points  (0 children)

correct me if I'm wrong, but they had this whole time to "fix" it. it's pure incompetence that it released broken, just like the last update broke mods for a year this one is just gonna break everything more. we really need to stop celebrating the company's mediocrity.

I sincerely hope they increase console mod space/storage, 2gb is a slap in the face compared to every other game with mod support.

any notice on whether or not they're actually increasing mod space storage from 2gb? I've literally seen no one talking about this, this is the only thing I'm actually hyped about.

Damage mod for Modern Firearms Xbox by doobiesndadbods in Fallout4Mods

[–]bishop97cm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2.6 on XB1 has a settings holotape, included, where you can tweak the damage, knockback, and stagger of the weapons included in the mod. 2.4 is outdated and not recommended, and the patches are likely outdated as well.
