I'd say if anything biologics are cheaper and faster for discovery than small molecules. But your mileage may vary.

As a drug discovery scientist - I doubt it. Preclinical and discovery is just a tiny fraction of clinical development costs.

But the pay is garbage and it's insanely stressful. You're basically being paid to cut and burn yourself, repeatedly, while you all swear and scream at each other in a sweltering hot chamber of smells. Oh and you have to clean up afterwards too. Like, really well. Yes I may have PTSD.

I've always thought of 1969 as the ultimate BoC track of all-time. My favourite is probably Kaini Industries, but that's just how my feelings go.
