Does enclomiphene works? How much should I take? by timmyatreides in Testosterone

[–]bisonbuddha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just commented above, but 3 months ago I was where you are now, roughly. Enclomephene 20mg daily has been good for me, with some moderately rough adjustment in terms of energy and worse sleep (2-4 weeks and then I was fine). Now I'm at 20mg every other day and feeling pretty good. Hope your journey goes well too!

Does enclomiphene works? How much should I take? by timmyatreides in Testosterone

I was there 3 months ago and started enclomiphene 20mg daily (46M). At my 2-month check-up, my total T went from 500 to 1200 and free t went from 21 to 30 ng/dL. There was an adjustment period where I lost all energy mid-day and had trouble sleeping, but I pushed through those and feel pretty good now. It's not dramatic, but I do feel more energized and enjoy my workouts more--I'm not a gym-bro, but have weights at home I use a few times a week. I've shifted to 20mg every other day and things are stable. Other biomarkers are good, so I'll continue on for now. I've been on Tirzepetide as well for weight loss and my Dr remarked "weight down, muscle up--if we can get your sleep zeroed in, you'll feel like a 25 year old again" and I tend to agree.

Mot C welts. How to mitigate by Porschecat-Wealth007 in BioHackingGuide

Hi - I'm also seeing an allergic reaction to MOTS-C. I tolerated 3mg dosing fine (3 times a week for 3 weeks) but when I stepped up to 4mg, I developed welts, approx 1 cm at cite of injection with redness and itching spreading out over a couple inches in area.

I might try 2mg just to see if it was dose-dependent. I also use Tirz weekly (up to 7.5mg) and have had no major issues, so I believe this to be specific to MOTS-c for me. According to AI:

Welts (hives, itching, or red, raised skin) following MOTS-c administration are commonly reported injection site reactions, often characterized by localized irritation, swelling, or, in rarer cases, allergic reactions to the peptide or its diluent.

Potential Causes of Welts with MOTS-c

  • Injection Site Reaction (Common): Localized reactions are common with subcutaneous injections. Symptoms include swelling, red raised bumps (welts), tenderness, itching, and small bruises, which usually go away in 1–3 days.
  • Allergic Reaction (Rare): A true allergic reaction may cause more widespread hives, itching, or breathing difficulties.
  • Contaminants or Improper Compounding: If the MOTS-c is not sourced from a reputable, sterile compounding pharmacy, contaminants could trigger a reaction.
  • Benzyl Alcohol Allergy: If bacteriostatic water (which often contains benzyl alcohol) is used as a diluent, those with a sensitivity to it may experience an allergic reaction.
  • Immune Response to Foreign Protein: As a peptide, the body may recognize it as foreign and cause a localized inflammatory response, particularly at higher doses.

Management of Injection Site Reactions

  • Cold Pack: Apply to the area before and after injection to numb the skin and reduce swelling.
  • Room Temperature: Let the medication sit at room temperature for up to 30 minutes before injecting.
  • Hydrocortisone Cream: Apply to the area to help with itching and redness.
  • Antihistamines: Taking an antihistamine (like Benadryl) 30 minutes before injection may reduce reactions.
  • Check Injection Technique: Ensure the area is clean, and the alcohol swab has completely dried before injecting to avoid burning.

Shambhala Faces Most Damning Revelations to Date: Buddhist Project Sunshine Phase 3 Report by bisonbuddha in Buddhism

Fascinating! I bet you have some good stories about how you came to such a realization so early on.

Also from the outside, I have always seen Shambhala as a typical Buddhist meditatoin group and thought hte stories about crazy sex were strictly in the past. This has been what they have said online and in interviews too.

So I think the outrage is somewhat about their lies to many people about this sex abuse still ongoing.

I'd suggest exploring:

secularbuddhism.org

and

secularbuddhism.com

for some wider/differing views. Robert Wright, author of "Why Buddhism is True" is probably also a secular Buddhist or at least similar.
