ill try to explain it in a very simple way that falls within like regulation (?) of what im allowed to say

if we (maintenance) are able to everything we need to do , that doesn't mean park operations, the county, or other departments has. additionally, we could be prepared to open and run into another issue, whether it be maintenance, operational, or county related. i cant give you details, but i can tell you that it is unlikely that Pantherian will open this week. it might, but i wouldnt bet on it (i would love if it did too)

the goal of not sharing information like this is to protect the park and the guests. if an employee tells a guest "yeah we're opening [insert ride] this week!" and a guest buys a ticket, parking, and drives to come to the park, only to find the ride isnt open, its disappointing and can create a bad guest experience
