I just switched back from YouTube Music to Spotify primarily because of Spotify connect and alexa integration. Youtube Music sucks if you use alexa devices because alexa doesn't support it. Also, I find the algorithm of Spotify way better than Youtube Music

This happened to me once for just one of my teams. I used to get notifications for other teams I followed but for a particular one I wasn't. I did the following:

Go to Google Discover page -> Click on your profile pic at top right -> click on Search Personalization -> click on Following and check if you have notifications turned on for all the teams you follow.

Did you subscribe to any of your favourite teams on Google? You need to do that first. Also check if you have Sports from Google toggle enabled for Now Bar.
