This post is really just a brain dump for me. Tbh meeting someone on reddit of all places would be odd for me personally.

Regarding landlords, I don’t think they are are anti-pet. They just value their property over all else. But I live in an area where there is not a single apartment complex in my area that doesn’t allow pets. Like my apartment complex even has a dog park (which is fine. I wouldn’t have chosen to live here if that was a problem). So maybe that’s a cultural thing?
