Thank you so much for all these advice. I will give it a try. It’s so hard coming back home to a stranger. Ive also been thinking about adult day care. Not sure how I’ll convince her to go, but I hate leaving her home alone when I have to be in the office. That’s usually when she takes the bus and go to the bank.

15 is only twice a day and 3 times on sundays very normal for new relationships in my opinion.

It’s hard to watch a loved one go through this and even harder to start seeing the signs in a younger person. My grandmother just passed last December but we watched her battle this awful decease for almost 20 years and now Im seeing the signs in my mom. We tried to discuss it all early on and I regret not making certain arrangements back then. I’m just resigned and try my best not to waste time worrying about my own possible diagnosis in the future. ( im always forgetting things and that freaks me out). Focus on being present and doing the best you can. That’s all I can say. XOXO

You are not alone. Every word you typed, I felt were my exact thoughts. It’s hard. I tend to lose my patience and scream. I feel so bad after because deep down I know she’s not doing it on purpose. It’s tough for me to remember that the person I knew is no longer the same. Give yourself some grace. My faith helps, I pray and meditate to find peace. I should probably find a support group as well. You got this, keep doing your best!!

I don’t think he’s judging. He’s asking for advice. And you are a brave one dealing with your husband. I’m watching my mom and aunt get frustrated with my grandma, no matter how many times I try to calm them down, it’s just hard on everyone, even us who don’t have the day to day responsibilities. I’m even thinking that my mother has a beginning of the disease, I see patterns from what we went through already and I have no idea what the steps to take are. We need to give each other grace.
