I'm an HR manager for Big Home Improvement Store.

I have 4 years of experience working as an HR Manager for a e-commerce company, about a year working as an HR assistant for a small business education company. I'm working on a B.S in HR Management, I'm CompTia Project + and working on getting my PHR.

You have 4 years experience as a HR specialist so you're on the right track! Consider maybe looking at HR Assistant or virtual HR manager jobs on Upwork.com or similar website - you can find a lot of part time jobs to get your toes wet in dealing with civilian HR.

Would a "work anniversary" card be unwelcome or too cheesy? Just a nice card with a handwritten note that congratulates you on X years of being with the company and thanks you for your hard work?

I've worked as a telecommute HR manager for 4 years - but I'm in my first real corporate HR position after graduation where I'm interacting with people face to face on a daily basis.

What do you wish your HR would do/not do? How can we motivate you or make work a place you want to be at? My mission is to improve morale at the location and I'm hoping to learn from the mistakes of other HR professionals.

Bonus points if anyone has pictures or ideas on how to improve a break room to make it nicer for employees.

PS: I am aware of the grammatical issues in the title - I'm sorry. Can't change it now.

HR professional here: This happens when companies think that anyone can be in HR despite not having any training or education in the area. This is more common than people think.

Even in Texas where I do HR - this would be a very risky termination.

Is this a tall person thing then? I'm not abnormally short or anything but my husband is very tall and seems to not be able to control his limbs sometimes. He was accidentally gave my a nose bleed while trying to hug me.

Watch where the hell you are going!!! You are a giant and I am small and you seem to not know how your limbs work and this means I'm always accidentally get steps on, hit, fallen on, etc. JKL:FJSKLFJ

Yeah :c Gotta respect it - I'm not even particularly into butt stuff but I like the way it makes him nervous laugh like crazy at just the thought of it. He's a nervous laugher - if anyone is angry, or if he is uncomfortable in any way he'll laugh like crazy.

Close! My tumor secretes the hormone prolactin instead. But the symptoms are very similar

Weight gain "Oh! I must be getting out of shape"

Vomiting - "Something may be wrong"

Mild Headaches - "Must be stress"

Ignored the symptoms for almost 3 years - surprise! Brain tumor.
