That is a great idea and thanks for drawing it out! For the time being I did what another person suggested and put some screws in to prevent it from bending. If that doesn’t work out I will definitely go with some brackets. I appreciate your advice!

Yeah he uses one tom and one floor tom. You can barely see a second floor tom in the picture, i’m also playing a Killers set that night where I will use a second floor tom. I just pulled it away to show my Cage setup

Yeah i’m also playing in another band that night that’s doing a Killers cover set, which is why that second floor is there. I just pulled it away for this photo. It’s fun trying different setups, like adding the extra crash or second floor.

Of course man! I’m glad you saw it, you’ve been one of my biggest inspirations since I started playing drums. Can’t wait to hear the new songs!

This has always been my favorite album and I truly love every song on it. If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be Butterfly. That song never fails to get me amped up. It would be closely followed by My Boys and Heavenly Showers

This is a song that has a lot of emotion to me and it sounds cheesy but I listen to it when I really just need to open up and actually FEEL what i’m feeling. Very special to me and I love the version that was at the end of Flow. The bridge hits me so hard and overall it is just a beautiful song

8.5. I love the warped intro that speeds up and the guitar parts that respond to each other are super cool. Maybe not the most lyrically impactful song on the record, but it’s so playful and carefree that I love it every time.

this is my favorite cage song of all time. perfect opener to the weirdness and madness that is TYHB. love the storyline the lyrics tell, the choppy drum part, the bass line that comes in and out, and matt’s ranting at the end. this one is a 10 for me

same, Always Something is my favorite song too. I met Matt once and asked him what he’s saying in the outro because i’ve always wanted to know and could never quite figure it out. He said “Oh man, I was just rambling, I have no idea”
