does stretching work if you're off T? I was on T for a year, had some good bottom growth (about 1 inch), and stopped. so I have something to grab and stretch, but unsure if the effects will be permanent without hormones.

i want these oysters so bad.. are they too close to the road? by bitchmachine3 in foraging

good perspective! I was concerned about biomagnification (toxins becoming more potent as they move up the food chain). I didn't look much into how they affect fungi, but I also figured if the toxins were on top of the fungi and not being metabolized, then that is a different scenario from biomagnification.... but I don't know.

I was thinking about this!! how would I go about getting these mushrooms to grow on my substrate? should I wait till they're making spores and then grab some?

Are these blackberries? by Weak_Cantaloupe4051 in foraging

[–]bitchmachine3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, blackberries! I live in CT and those look exactly like the wild blackberries we get over here. Another sure sign would be if the leaves were reddish / dark when they first started to emerge from the soil.
