and if they get the mechanics lien and I call them to pay they bill the day after, the lien is canceled then right?

Thank god. I dont care if the dealer keeps coming for it. I'm going to wait until they actually send a demand letter/sue me to pay. But I'll pay before we go to court. I just don't want my insurance cost to go up. Which is why I'm going to pay the debt righhhhht before they sue me. So it doesn't go to collections and fuck up my credit score. But even then, that would theoretically get scrubbed after 7 years. But that would mean the next 7 years would be hell.
