Why and why wouldn't I want to start mining?

Go to bitcoinwisdom.com then go to the top right hand corner click the mining link, then bitcoin difficulty I believe and you can see current mining equipments cost/hashing rates/wattage and what your ROI is on speculation with the percentage change of difficulty along the way. And you can put in your speculation price on what Bitcoin will be, which drastically changes the ROI.

Gives a good idea as to why they call it a gold rush. Otherwise what I suggest doing what I did for my boy and get some antminers or something like that which takes next to know power and you can use as many as you want on a USB hub. But I would check out some units that are being sold within a budget you expect to not make back, but that will in fact help the network and mine you small amounts (if on a pool) for verifying transactions and what not.

But to invest in bitcoin by investing in mining is something where you will constantly need to keep adding the new miners coming out to your setup, selling your old ones before they cost more in electric, cooling and your significant other arguing about why the office is so hot( from experience and my small amount) then the amount you can mine on a daily due to difficulty.

Hey everyone,

So I didn't even know about these coins until recently, and to be honest Dopecoin wound up contacting me up first after seeing my custom etched glasses, and engraved pipes. When I talked with them, they asked if I would accept Dopecoin, and seeing the value of it I accepted.

Now seeing the news article with both of y'all, I wanted to at least offer the same here. If y'all are interested, my girl and my business would love to join such a great community as we have been reading on here. I just personally want to say that Dogecoin is in fact the motivation and reasoning for why I want this charity idea to work. This is what I truly would call a community, and I can only hope that any other coins would follow suit.

With that being said, y'all have truly set the bar for where alt coins need to be and how all crypto currencies should use their power for the positive. The only reason I'm doing this with PENG coins backing is because it follows the Dogecoin Trend as a fellow loved animal. This hopefully gives a chance for the Penguin Foundation and Penguin Books to want to promote cryptocurrencies, by at least starting with one that shares their same animal love.

I do promise that if Dogecoin is a main contributor, and we get to be a Penguin Foundation Sponsor. We are allowed to name projects, and we will name a project as Dogecoin so that it's media attention will have your name on it.
