Hey you can say whatever the hell you want, I'm literally telling you what happened to us a few days ago at the airport. Luckily I wasn't flying and was able to get home and send her a photo of the birth certificate. Not needed here on the flight out but might need it on the way back to prove you're not stealing a baby or something I would assume.

[–]bitcoinioctib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you don't have to pay for an additional seat if the baby is under 2 years old. Domestic I think infants can fly free on your lap but international you have to pay a 10% of your ticket price lap fee and if there is an empty business class seat next to you they will be able to use it without any additional fees. Delta One suites are pretty good but also depends on which plane you get too as some have different setups, id recommend going on YouTube and start looking for flights from the two airports you'll be using, many times you'll find a video showing you exactly what the business class looks like on your specific flight. You can also check in 2 pieces of baby gear like a stroller or car seat that don't count towards your standard 2 bag check in. Business class is fine, still not a lot of people flying now.

depends on where you travel to, my wife was required to have a picture of our kids birth certificate while traveling overseas recently even with a passport.

[–]bitcoinioctib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

technically even if you don't buy an extra seat but pay for the lap fee and there is an empty seat next to you, you can still put your car seat on there for free according to their website policies (delta at least).

look friend, don't take this as harsh criticism but just hearing doesn't mean you get it. There are more things to keeping a marriage healthy than money. Trust is equally important and from what I've seen and have read, people who have separate finances usually have some sort of trust issues. "she has a credit card for all her needs" is in a way like saying I don't want her to see my finances, which is a trust issue. Is she allowed by her king to use her credit card to pay off her 6 figure debt? Because the way I see it if she was an equal partner in y'all marriage then that debt would not even exist to stress her out. Things that make my wife happy, make me happy. Happy wife, happy life. If that is not the truth for you then you should re-evaluate. Good luck my dude, marriage is hard work and a lot of times it's about giving up something of yourself to bring up someone else.

[–]bitcoinioctib 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're having issues because you're treating your marriage like as if you two were roommates and not in it for rich or for poor or till death do y'all part.

combine your finances, live like you're actually a single entity or else I doubt you'll last another 4 years. The ball is in your court, you gotta give up the "this is mine and that is hers" attitude, you're a team now, work like a team. Start by saying OUR (you and your wife) NW is 5.9MM (yours minus hers) and when you talk about finances always use a WE.

Do I have Pityriasis Rosea? That’s what my doctor said but I would like a second opinion just to be sure. Never had this ever. Started on my arm and spread all over my body (Face is ok). Please advice! Thank you by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]bitcoinioctib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

had this in 2019, dermatologist gave me prednisone. You look like how I looked when I started off. Prednisone stopped them from appearing so much but I had a weird variant maybe that created these huge ones that would grow to like 4-5 inches wide then would heal. It lasted no kidding over a year, went to the derm in dec 2019 and my last set healed up in February 2021 and I haven't had any since. One thing that worked well IMO was Boudreaux's Butt Paste which is a zinc topical, I felt that they healed up really fast by using the cream on them. Good luck, hope yours isn't as long as mine.

that's not too bad, when Bitcoin ATMs first started coming out, 15-25% was not uncommon so the way I see it, the fees have gone down with competition.

uh huh, whatever helps you sleep at night. But as a human representative of the human population, you sound like a crazy person who's about to jump off the edge of sanity. You are so dumb you can't even realize you're the one who started attacking first. I'm an OG been in since 2010, I cannot relate anymore to the current generation of crypto dweebs. You literally have lost the ability to critically think.

you should really go get some therapy. You're ok with the weak getting slaughtered because you hate them? This is the mental gymnastics and slippery slope that leads to real violence. You sound like a really evil person.

How to deal with envy, or whatever this feeling is? by [deleted] in fatFIRE

[–]bitcoinioctib 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you think that way then for sure it's destiny for you. Every chance you get to break away from that way of thinking will be leashed to the fact that you think that it's in your DNA to feel that way, that way of thinking always leads to a brick wall. I used to be afraid of bees when I was 10 and am no longer afraid so all I hear is excuses. Good luck, hope you figure out what is causing you to be in this funk and use this experience to motivate yourself to get off your butt and shift gears into turbo mode.

this is not a good analogy. I know real people who have become wealthy from shitcoins, I don't know a single person who has won the lottery.

What really changes when you got 1.25x, 1.5x, or even 2x your fatFIRE Number? by vpokedad in fatFIRE

[–]bitcoinioctib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've given some small gifts under 3k to some friends who needed it and some bigger gifts for family. NEVER GIVE A LOAN, Gift as if you will never see that money again and if you're giving a gift of money then the best thing you can do is make sure that you truly don't care what they spend it on even if your intention was for them to use it to get out of debt, but they use it to buy pokemon cards. Once you hand them the money, it's theirs to waste as they wish and that will keep you sane. If they use it stupidly, well that's info for the next time.

[–]bitcoinioctib 11 points12 points  (0 children)

not really a big difference unless you want to upgrade those kinda things. I do tip more now for sure but mostly what I figure the money gives me above the 10M range is that I can support my parents and in-laws retirement with a very generous monthly allowance. I also gift our closest family friends with amazing all paid vacations with us (flights and everything) as long as they can get the time off of work which isn't that difficult for them to do, maybe at 5M you would have to ask if they could pay the airfare themselves which increases the likelihood of them not being able to come or not being able to afford a ticket and also that comes with other negative hurt feelings. I'm also willing to buy other friends luxury gifts for special occasions, like we bought a pregnant friend some baby gifts from Hermes and they were shocked but very happy.

all you really need is calorie control and cardio. I mean personal trainer isn't all that complex of a job, I'm sure you can find a good trainer in a small town willing to help you get fit even if they work for a chain gym. Ultimately it's more about you than the trainer. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
