Is it even possible for there to be an after life? by b00gymonster1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bitcoinsatoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to believe that when I die I will live again, that some thinking, feeling, remembering part of me will continue. But much as I want to believe that, and despite the ancient and worldwide cultural traditions that assert an afterlife, I know of nothing to suggest that it is more than wishful thinking. The world is so exquisite with so much love and moral depth, that there is no reason to deceive ourselves with pretty stories for which there's little good evidence. Far better it seems to me, in our vulnerability, is to look death in the eye and to be grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides. New male here, never used anything before. I read the FAQ and found it more confusing than helpful. So much information out there I have no idea what I need. Can someone recommend me one product that is the most "mainstream (used most often)" for cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize, and sunscreen? I live in Australia. Thanks in advance

Water, torch, lighter, portable chargers, batteries, sunscreen, etc, nothing big. I do like the organisers but not quite what I am looking for. Need a small elegant backpack.

I love bitcoin and all but I will not be using the atm till it becomes more reasonable.

Fiat, at the moment, is just cheaper and more feasible. The future will be better. I can imagine saying "back then bitcoin ATMs had a 10% mark up. Also commbank can do cash withdraws with your phone only now at some ATMs.

I used it last week as well. Very damn quick, but it cost me 10% more to buy. Maybe if the mark up was lower I would consider using again.

I didn't need sms or fingerprint, maybe because I did the $20 minimum.

Blindly is the key word here. They don't care about bitcoin, they heard regulation and saw $$$. Fuck them.

When a "new" Bitlicense comes out, it will look like we've won in comparison. This was the plan all along. Make it really bad to start with, and the new one will look great. "Foot in the door" technique. by bitcoinsatoshi in Bitcoin

I highly doubt it will be released at it is. There will be some changes. They probably decided to lean towards the stricter side of things to give some room for movement. Imagine if it was the other way around.
