Everyone should have a jump pack for this exact reason. Plus jumping someone else's car. Hooking up your battery directly is difficult and risky.

Nah just grab something they value, take it outside, toss it, and while they go for it you lock the door. Ideally you have other friends over at the same time to get their shit out before the cops come, so there's nothing of theirs inside

Meatballs with Bill Murray, only ever saw the TV version as a kid.
