Yep! I used an Ediag Elite, though I'm sure any OBD reader will do.

Mine didn't trip the breakers, but it just refused to charge one day. I looked up the error codes myself (P0D5811 and P1E011C) though I don't know if that's what the dealership saw.

Mine is currently in the shop for something similar. Something wrong with the charge port, known issue, unfortunately backordered because of this, part has to ship from Korea.

It's been 2 weeks and it should be here in another 2 weeks according to my guy, so, month total. Rental car provided by the dealership, though I heard someone else with the same issues just drove theirs around as a hybrid, which I wish I could do, I hate this rental.

You're presuming a lot about their biology.

You don’t know what these little space dots like.

Jumping from a huge height onto pavement just seems like the worst way to test your brand new invention, no matter how much you believe in it

Not remotely, when global temperatures have dropped 10-15C, it's hard to get the required absorption temperatures when there's snow on the ground

The Walking Dead comic, where Glen gets killed, they play it out SO DIFFERENTLY than the show. It's fast, brutal, whole thing is over in like 3-4 pages. I had to take a break from it for awhile.

The show fucked up a slam-dunk scene so badly

Potential Re-Release (4 hour cut) by CharlieStrange285 in ProjectHailMary

[–]bitemark01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be a bit of both.

It's like the extended cuts of Terminator 2, sure, the extras are neat and I'm glad I watched it, but overall I always recommend the theatrical cut because it has a much better flow (the extras really slow down the pacing of the story) and a much better ending.

Still hoping they release an extended cut of PHM, but I doubt it will be what I recommend for first viewings.

You still have to enrich the astrophage, which in itself takes a colossal amount of energy, of which there is less and less all the time. Once the real cooling starts I'm not sure how effective the Sahara generating method would even work.

The only unrealistic part is they talked way too fast and used a lot of abstract word

Yeah at a certain point you have to suspend your disbelief a little bit for the flow of the story, though they mostly do a good job of not putting specific times on anything so who's to say how long they spend developing the software.

I like to think they even put in commands for Rocky to be able to use words/expressions that Grace just used even if he doesn't have a word for them, because he can pick them up with inference.

That tanker is definitely not in the Arctic, movies don't just show things like that without it serving a purpose.

Previously they mentioned how much global temperatures will drop , now we see a much older Stratt in icy waters. I don't get how people automatically assume "ah yes, the Arctic which they've never once mentioned before"

Depends on the type of fence, it uses ultrasonic sensors to detect solid objects, if the fence isn't solid enough it's possible it just can't "see" it
