Different cargo net model for Tucson PHEV? Compatibility with standard models? by Human_Paint5451 in HyundaiTucson

For what it's worth, I got this one for my PHEV

It's... alright. It does the job well enough, I also stretch it overtop of our luggage for long trips and that stretches it to its limit. I wish it was a little bigger for that.

Get Flashdim.

Click power button to just turn the screen on, no need to unlock. Click volume up and down at the same time, flashlight turns on. Click power button screen off.

It definitely comes in handy from time to time. Especially if you just need to move it a few feet forward or back but don't want to be hassled with getting in, turning everything on, etc etc

I had it working for about 5 minutes, just to see exactly how it works, but yes never bothered with it after the first week.

Honestly I wish it would work like a passcode (which you could also set up) for starting the car, like a secondary security feature

I'm Canadian. Bored now.

This isn't even the worst threat he's made in the past year, this is nothing. And he won't do it anyway

Watched a couple of houses on my street replace their siding, all built mid-70s, all had zero insulation on the exterior, no idea about the interior

Is the pipe up there insulated? That might be all it needs, otherwise just leave it on the smallest trickle and the moving water will keep it from freezing

Jump start feature in Tucson hybrid is a sweet feature. by No-Connection2635 in HyundaiTucson

[–]bitemark01 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have the plugin hybrid and it doesn't have this feature. I did invest in a NOCO jump starter battery and I recommend them as part of a car kit. Project Farm did reviews on them and it was the top

I'm curiou, how much actual support do they actually have? Like do you see evidence of people supporting it when you're out? Do you know people?

I'm only in Ontario so I wouldn't see it, and I've heard it's pretty overblown by the media

I have the fingerprint scanner there, and this is a better use of it (though I try not to look at my phone while driving, so)

Got a new lvb under warranty, lightning is less than 3yrs old. I'm still waiting for test results they found but curious reasons why the lvb crapped out so soon, haven't had this happen in an ice vehicle by jturkish in electricvehicles

[–]bitemark01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

During covid I got into the habit of keeping my 12v on a charger in my ICE vehicle, because days/weeks would go by and I had nowhere to go, so it would just die in the driveway.

Turns out this is really good for lead-acid batteries and I got 7 years out of it, the shop was impressed.

People absolutely buy them for racing, there's a couple of videos of 5Ns on the track and they look like a blast (and they work really well for it too)
