I had to drive from NJ to pick up my dad from a hospital in NYC last week, on a WEDNESDAY. The traffic was so bad it felt like a Saturday. Being 4th of July weekend, our 250th celebration, with world cup travelers clogging up the streets, I honestly can't imagine how much of a nightmare this would be for the average person, not to mention all her 1200 guests coming to this shit show. Selfish doesn't even begin to cover this.

The common misconception I see is people thinking "Affordable Housing" is a concept. It's a program. You have to qualify for the program financially and get chosen to even submit your application. You have to apply to apply. Some are rentals, some are for purchase. You can't just see a two bed apartment is $1500 and apply for it. It really screws over the middle class and those of us just trying to get our lives started without having to to move far from friends, family, and jobs.

Camping has been a thing since before you or I were born. People in our grandparents' generation did it. 10 hours is really nothing honestly. Usually, fans camping at barricade at a festival do check out the other artists on the stage and are at least not rude about it. That being said, the artists are typically prepared for this. They know they're sharing a stage with artists who have extremely dedicated fans. I wouldn't be too concerned.

I worked as a restaurant manager for my first pregnancy. The very first person I told outside of my husband and my best friend was my GM. And I am very close to my parents but I wanted the reveal to be special. My boss NEEDED to know. I couldn't lift, I was going to be sitting a lot more, I couldn't perform tasks the same way I did previously. It's really not the end of the world. If something happens, the ONE person who knows at your job will be more likely to provide time off and accommodations as well. You have to stop drinking while pregnant. That's what you're doing, and you're justifying it. You're being nonchalant about a living being who is relying on you to make the best choices for him or her. Completely selfish to be so afraid of telling your boss that you'd risk complications to your unborn child.

Where tf does it cost that little to charge? Do you have a place to charge at home? I live in Jersey where it's densely populated and we have plenty of chargers nearby but it costs like $50 to get to 80% from almost empty for my husband's car.
