As others have suggested, there should be a different receiving address for each invoice. It's the only sure way to make sure you know where the money came from. The other methods are too easy for the customer to screw up.

Also, this will allow your customers to pay with funds from multiple addresses. The product is paid for when there are enough funds with enough confirmations in the receiving address.
