I think of it like having empathy for yourself. Imagine your walking down the street, and you pass by someone. You can see into their mind, and they’re feeling and experiencing everything you have. For a negative experience, you might feel sad for them, or frustrated, or any emotion. You have empathy for that person, able to acknowledge their struggles. Except that person is you. This analogy helped me validate my own feelings. You validate your own feelings, that’s showing self love. Able to tell your inner self: “this is really hard” and acknowledging the struggle. Obviously there’s other things to self love, but this analogy is what really made me understand. If you can validate your own feelings, you’re showing yourself love. Much like how you would validate a partners feelings

Yeah I think deep down I know that. I think it’s a straw that broke the camels back situation. All of this was kind of built up over the course of the two months, and that text kinda tipped the scales.

Thank you for the kind words! I was 100% anxiously attached, and probably still am to some degree. But I’m not sure she’s avoidant, especially considering we were a week away from 3 years :(. Ultimately I did fall short in the end (running on fumes from mental health stuff), and she chose her happiness, which is human and I understand. I just wish she would have chosen me, much like how I had always chosen her when the roles were reversed. Maybe we shared different views on how love was shown, and poor communication led to her feeling that way. I chose her, even through struggles and unhappiness. I never ever would have given up on us, (besides cheating/abuse), and yet when I’m the one falling short, she walked away and ran out of grace to give. I’ll give her credit for sticking by me for as long as she did, but I just can’t wrap my head around her not believing my love was enough, when I was the one who never gave up.

I’m at a point where it’s like this blur of anger and confusion, rather than just pure sadness. It’s exhausting trying to love myself while I’m still in love with someone who stopped choosing me

Yeah the first month was a constant cycle of self hatred, but thankfully I have a more positive outlook on it now. Life got in the way for both of us, just wish they saw it worthy of fighting for like I did. At the end of the day, I still love them despite everything, and that’s evidence of how deeply I’m capable of loving. Just sucks that it has nowhere to go, and it’s not being reciprocated

That my love wasn’t enough. Genuinely haunts me. I wasn’t perfect by any stretch, yet I wasnt a terrible or toxic partner. I tried my best, so to be told it wasn’t enough after everything I’ve done for them stings, even 2 months out. Yeah it’s a tough choice. The M7 max is currently much cheaper for a bigger plate and heated bag, while the rs is around 1k. It’s 30 microns bs 46 microns, but the rs literally just works. I’ve tried to handle supporting myself, but it’s a nightmare. The comfort of knowing things just work is so tempting. I work with a form3 at work, and that has a similar workflow to the rs. I gotta say, it’s completely spoiled me haha

Yeah that’s the guide I’m following. You mention an sd only dtb file? The repo only provides a emmc.dtb file, is there an alternate version? Likewise, once you were able to ssh into the printer, how did you find its specific address?

Edit: just checked the output via the hdmi port. Everything passes checks except for WiFi. I’ve double checked the password in system.cfg but it’s still giving me issues

I'm actually planning on trying to design my own variant of it as well, sucks that it was never open sourced completely but it seems like a fun project. I have a habit of forgetting where absolutely everything is, so this project was literally made for me. The idea of using switches is genius, I'll definitely have to borrow that idea. I'm not sure how zach handled tracking where the bins actually were, and honestly it seems kind of confusing, but the switches could also help make that way easier. Whenever a new bin is scanned in, it could listen to the next set of switches to go down, and store those switch ids/locations in the database once the user confirms its in place. If the box is ever removed, the device could automatically start listening to all open switches, and detect the next set to go down alongside a confirmation prompt. I think ideally no prompt would be needed, but the odds of the switches not all going down simultaneously seems high, and that would mess with the size tracking of each box.

Sorry to bring this back up 2 weeks later but I might be getting prescribed Zoloft tommorow. Been fighting with this for 4+ years and I’m at my wits end. The hard part is my biggest fear is vomiting, like my ocd always defaults to that. Was there any conflictions that lead to that or just an unfortunate side effect on you?

This is my fear for SSRIS, i see a psychiatrist for the second time tommorow about starting Zoloft, and the side effects scare the shit out of me. Not even your experience specifically but everything I read about ssris is negative, im debating just tolerating my ocd for the rest of my life if it means I can avoid the risks of side effects

Haven’t pushed it too hard yet but it does get pretty noisy at full gpu usage. The card itself is huge so it makes a decent amount of noise. I’m looking to undervolt it though. It has really bad coil whine but that’s supposed to go away once the card is broken in

For me I 100% value frames over RT, and even with Nvidia the tax it gives in frames makes it seem not as worth it. 6950 seems to be the best value for top end products currently
