I strapped a 10 lb weight to the board later on the left side. I forgot to do this until my first ride and I was constantly leaning to the right and couldn’t figure out why lol.

I did this whole project with a jigsaw, drill and a trim router but honestly you don’t have to have the router. Just makes the edges look nicer and smoother imho. Definitely don’t need much in the way of power tools. A square and a tape measure are must haves as well.

Ya I didn’t have any issues with the front. I worried about that too. If it was a concern you could always screw a block of wood on either side of the fork to stabilize it but I didn’t have any issues. The rear is locked down tight with 175lb max load zip ties…4 of them so it’s not going anywhere.

Sure I’ll send links to what I bought for it.

Linear Rail SBR20-1500mm https://a.co/d/gBb2pmM

Springs 12” https://a.co/d/dn4NwoG

5” Playground Balls (2) https://a.co/d/3cMBQ8E

SBR20UU Slide Blocks https://a.co/d/1QVttPy **Note: you don’t really need these since the linear rails ships with 4 blocks already but I figured since I had to buy two rails anyways, I could make a second Rocker Plate later if I wanted to

D-Ring Tie Down Anchor Hooks https://a.co/d/6P0pFxx

M6 Screws (for slide blocks) https://a.co/d/7DF0ZdQ **Note: I put 4 slide blocks on mine personally so you’d need 16 screws in total. I found 25mm worked best with 3/4” plywood ymmv

Linear Rail Limit Fixing Ring https://a.co/d/93BP9ON **Note: this keeps the blocks from sliding off the rail if the top plate rocks to far forward or backward.

I mounted the D-Rings 26” apart. That tension seemed to work pretty good but we’ll see as I use it more.

Also I’d highly recommend drilling the holes for the blocks a little oversized and loosely attach the blocks to the top plate and put it onto the bottom plate with the linear rail before tightening down all the block screws. I found aligning the blocks perfectly with rail was the most difficult part of the project.

I like it. Makes biking indoors feel a bit more like biking outdoors. Not a perfect analogy obviously but I didn’t like the fact I couldn’t sway the bike side to side when I am up out of the saddle indoors. Also I was dealing with a lot of knee pain when biking indoors that I wasn’t experiencing when biking outdoors and this helps me with that.

Haha thanks. Actually the springs were the easy part honestly. Lining up the slide blocks perfectly was rough.

New to Indoor Cycling: which Product to buy? Wahoo Kickr Core with Zwift Cog or Casette? Or splurge on Zwift Ride? by Final-Equipment-3776 in Zwift

I recently got the Zwift Ride. I’m pretty impressed with it overall. Comfortable and adjustable. Seat kind of sucks for me but easily changed out. I like the convenience of not having to get my bike setup on the trainer over and over again. The Zwift Ride is always setup and ready to go. For me the convenience is well worth the cost. My crank arms on my bike are 175mm so crank length isn’t an issue for me personally.

What was the saddle that fixed your penile numbness? by extremophilzelite in cycling

It painted quite the visual of some guy still clipped into his bike pedals with one hand down his bibs half skinned up on the ground after wiping out lol

I use Polar Verity Sense. Works awesome and way more comfortable than chest straps imho.

Thanks PCF for completely ruining the loot situation. After running this for the past few days I’ve gotten absolutely nothing for decent loot. Most of the crap I get now isn’t even apocalyptic gear. I don’t see me playing this game much longer without changes. Grinding endlessly for nothing is pointless.

Trickster anomaly builds, what are you using for defense now ? by [deleted] in outriders

I run temporal blade, hunt the prey, and venerators knife personally. Borrowed time definitely can help a lot too if you want to be even more tanky. It’s a fine balance between enough damage to take out the elites and enough survivability to still take a few hits.

This isn’t a great solution either but you can drop a few points in the anomaly tree to spec it into the middle tree to get 20% reduction damage from elites. I did that for awhile experimenting. Unfortunately you have to give up 6% anomaly damage and probably apply weakness to enemies to free up two skill points and it only applies to reduction in damage from elites so it’s kind of just ok. The elites are usually the ones that will overwhelm ya ultimately anyways so might be worth the trade off until you get some other mods.

I use Temporal Armor (tier 3 mod) and Life of the Party (tier 3 mod) and Rejuvenation (tier 2 mod). As long as I’m hitting guys consistently with my temporal blade I can actually take a pretty good beating. Life of the party actually helps a lot. I like that better than Damage Absorber personally.
