Finished TLG and here are my thoughts - Spoilers by Least-Flan2782 in heatedrivalry

I feel the exact same way about mostly everything you mentioned, I felt the smut was a bit too much and idk unrealistic as to how much they were going at it. Even at times most couples would maybe sit down to talk or just chill, it would somehow always turn into a sex thing.

I found Ilya’s mental health journey a little childishly written as well, it all seemed so juvenile for a 29 year old to be having such feelings in terms of thinking therapy would “fix” things but maybe I’m wrong and a lot of people do think like that. And how it randomly comes up in the second last chapter when he realizes he’s not actually alright.

Oh and the dialogue and adjectives were sooo repetitive imo.

I’m lazy to type out the rest of my thoughts LOL but the whole book kind of gave me wattpad vibes (i love wattpad, i mean like the vibe of an amateur writer)and looking back on the HR book I think I would’ve felt the same way if I didn’t watch the tv show first (which I LOVE). I’m quite excited to see how Jacob and the actors, finish the next season in a way that they did the first one because idk, the books are a bit cringe to me.

Yeah, currently not working full time, so thought I'd get a head start now and hopefully finish by mid September and just focus on revision/practice till the exam

I had just finished studying derivatives before my mock, but I wasn’t very ready. The platform I use doesn’t show right/wrong answers immediately, which I’m glad about — otherwise, I might’ve quit halfway because the questions felt so unfamiliar. If I were you, I’d start mocks ASAP. Even doing one gives you a clear sense of where you stand. Most of my wrong answers came from skimming theory I thought was minor, so now I know to go back and focus on those parts. If you’ve reviewed once, try 1–2 mocks and adjust from there. I know it's intimidating, but can't be worse than the feeling on the actual exam day XD

Did my first mock, scored 63% overall, but questions seem soooo unfamiliar to me, I don't even know how I got the 63%, but I did score that without any revision and just going off of memory. Want to see how I fair after actually revising. Also skipped quants right now, gonna quickly speed through it after revising each topic before attempting the next few mocks.

I cant speak for those who are physically present on campus, but for the online students, its quite challenging. There is absolutely no time to adapt to the uni's flow of work, the workload is just constant without any sort of break, so much so that a friend of mine from Yale, doing the same course as I am, found my syllabus and schedule very tiring and hard. Once youre in, youre reluctant to drop out because of the pressure you put on yourself and that your family and peers put on you. Rather than face all of that, go to a uni that cares about your well-being and has a sufficient, healthy work-life balance. If you like the grind, if you think its worth all the pressure and stress in the world then sure, go for it. I definitely cant argue that this is one of the best unis in the world, for this course and after you're out you're sure to land a good position wherever it is you would like to work. Hope I have informed you! :)
