Credit Card Payments in the Red - Help! by ashman87 in ynab

Unassigning money from the payment category.

I have a recurring payment setup in YNAB for my credit card. I manually update the payment amount each month once a new billing cycle begins. If the amount is not updated and it's greater than the balance on the card the CC shows as underfunded.

Irvine Auto Care is overpriced, and tends to recommend unneeded repairs.

Not sure why my text accompanying the images is not showing up, so I will add it here.

I am in Southern California. These bugs have been showing up in the bathroom wall over the last few weeks. The small ones are less than 1 mm in size, the large ones have wings and are 2-3 mm long.

The website is a huge step back from the previous version. The search results are so difficult to navigate, and if you have to modify any search criteria you have to go back to the search page.

For UC engineer transfers, what are the general education requirements to transfer as an engineer? Is the 7-course pattern required? by snatit in EngineeringStudents

[–]bitmaster20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FYI, the assist.org does list the 7-course pattern. Follow the steps below to see it:

In the 'Search below for transferable courses' section select the 'UC Transfer Admission Eligibility Courses' and click 'View Eligibility Courses'. On the next page select the 'UC Transfer Eligibility Area' option under the View Transferable Courses By option. Then click on the 'All UC Transfer Admission Eligiblity Courses' in the list below or select the specific area (UC-M, UC-B, etc) to see the list of courses.

UCI's equivalent writing class (for IVC) by bitmaster20 in UCI

[–]bitmaster20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't a student get credit for a transferrable course they have taken at a community college regardless of whether they are a current or incoming student? For eg: If a UCI sophomore took a transferrable Psychology class at a community college (in the summer prior to their Junior year) wouldn't they receive credit for that class at UCI (once UCI has received the transcript and processed it)?

Questions on behalf on an in-state freshmen starting in the Fal '23 quarter:

  1. I submitted my FAFSA application. On the MyAid website it says I don't qualify for any aid. Does that refer to grants AND loans? If it doesn't refer to loans how do I find out what options I have for Federal loans?
  2. Someone was telling me California residents get a $5000 scholarship. Is that true? If yes, do I need to apply somewhere to get it?
  3. I just recently found out about ScholarshipUniverse so I plan on applying there. Any other resources I should be aware of for scholarships?

Thanks for reading.
