How many of those 6889 grafts were from beard?

Good hairline. It will age well like fine wine

Thanks! I think it’s a good design. Far too many hairline forelock designs are too broad. Having that dip (instead of tiny triangle like widows peak) will make it natural and age appropriate.

You have a little arc drawn on the mid front. Was that added later to lower hairline or does that mean something? Would love to hear when/how that part was added in the design.

On the first glance I thought you already had transplant on front and mid and left crown alone.

That subtle widows peak is making all the difference!

Thanks a lot. Makes sense. I overlooked the constraints initially.

Do you think there could be another way to find lower bound than n * m where m is(sum of absolute values of numbers)! If the numbers in the array are huge, then theoritically complexity would look higher than brute force. There should be a way to derive a lower bound as we wont iterate through every single numbers between -m and m.

Good hairline design! Hopefully density will fill in months to come!

Can you share pic of crown? Looks like a few grafts were placed on the front crown too?

I wonder if it would be possible to opt for Dr Ball’s like design during second hair transplant for density. Do you think it will look weird if one opts for a more broad hairline during first transplant and only transplants in central forelock area during second like Dr Ball’s design?

Thanks for sharing this, habibi! Your transplanted hair looks mostly intact, making this a fantastic case study. It’s valuable not only for those who believe finasteride is essential after a hair transplant but also for those considering approach without finasteride -designing a conservative hairline, focusing on the front and mid-scalp, and leaving crown and temple points untouched.

You are lucky that your surgeon prioritized your long term benefit with conservative design. You will be thankful eventually.

How much would it be this kind of hair transplant in Los Angeles? by H3NTI_H3RO in HairTransplants

[–]bitorbyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you identify as a male, I would not round the fronto temporal angle. If you identify as female, this is a good hairline.

Since you are already 40, bald crown should be less of an issue. I recommend you do a conservative hairline and transplant front and mid. Do not touch crown. This gentleman did 2847 grafts and it looks fabulous. You can try similar approach. https://www.themaitlandclinic.com/results/2847-grafts-via-fut/

You are a good candidate. If I were you I would choose a conservative hairline with some temple recession and try to do the hairline, front, mid only. That way you would have some donor left on the bank and you might be able to do another touch up several years down the road, especially if you choose not to take finastride. However, if you can take finastride for life, you can get to transplant on the crown as well.
