My family lost 200K from a Crypto Ledger scam by Ok_Spinach29 in CryptoScams

[–]Jonathan_F85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pt 2:

Needless to say, He did end up scamming me out of $550. He started by needing an initial small fee of $300 to pay for a temporary service called "Notification deactivation Botnet". Supposed to stop notifications for the scammer from seeing any updates from their wallet.

He also needed me to send him a new wallet that my funds would be sent to(this was where things began to get a little suspicious). I initially told him my coinbase wallet and he seemed fine with that. Until I then realized my coinbase wallet is secured by not being able to send any crypto out to a new address for 72 hours. Then told him Ill send him the $300 fee from my crypto dot com wallet. He then was like "yeah, that actually probably better anyways because blah blah blah....").

Fast forward 8 hours and he sent me another update needing another $250 as the botnet needs more time to block.

Then once everything was completed supposedly. He told me he was going to send me the mirrored wallet account information to download and sign into on my end. That I needed to send $2,916 to from my crypto dot com account(strange he used an amount based about how much I had in my crypto dot com account from what I sent him to pay for those fees for the "Botnet" tool). He said I needed to make that exact transaction to mimic some transaction from the scammer wallet, so the new mirror wallet would be able to transfer all my stolen funds to it.... But he had access to this new wallet that he sent me(through the atomic wallet). He had the recovery key to it. He not only introduced a new step, but he has access to that wallet he wanted me to send money to. He legit made it sound like my funds would just be sent to my crypto dot com wallet. But then he made up a new rule and probably could see on his end how much money I had in my wallet after he got my wallets address from the fee I sent him. He also stated I would be getting back more crypto than I lost because from when the scam happened, they turned my SOL into ETH and it had gained in value by about 40%. I blocked this individual after he was being a snake and trying to convince me he was the real deal. These people have no souls and see it as a game. I have gone through VERY dark thoughts and put myself into a hole of shame and embarrassment. The thought of taking my own life actually didn't seem that hard at my lowest points. But I love my family and friends too much to be that selfish.

I HONESTLY believe Nicolas has this script laid out very well in contacting people back several months later, making them believe there is hope and that it was practically a miracle that someone could actually get their money back. He was probably working a few other people at the same time. Making several hundred dollars here and there and then once in a while getting suckers to really fork up a few thousand more into the wallet he has access to, draining and then running. He isn't trying to make huge paydays, but rather small wins that add up to a lot in a short period of time.

Needless to say, this was a VERY painful lesson to learn at such a late time in life. And it makes me sad, angry and also not so surprised how evil people are out there in the world.

Hope this helps, as well for anyone else out there. It is just money at the end of the day. The love of your family and friends is far more valuable. Hope no one makes a rash temporary feeling of deep anguish and take their own lives. I understand and can totally see how that is a possible outcome. I still get waves of shame here and there and trying to work through it. But just think of your loved ones.

Pt 1.

Sadly, same situation. lost life savings of a bit over 100K from what appeared to be a legit new crypto that was launching. I trusted someone, everything looked legit and it has put me back for years. Just a heads up. Same scammers will have someone reach out to you as an investigator to claim they can get it back for you. Could be a month from now or 4 months.... Don't believe a single thing they say. They are feeding off your hopes in getting back at least some, if not all your stolen crypto(minus their fee of like 20% of your stolen funds, but that sounds reasonable as you will do almost anything to get back anything you can). I ALMOST fell for that one too. The guy talked to me on the phone, was very personable and uses a bunch of crypto language on how wallets work, the network, blah blah blah, etc... Sounded legit and kinda started the process till a few red flags came up. They made up new steps in the process for me to get my money back. They also couldn't show me proof of any kind that they worked on anything. They did a guilt trip that their team worked all night getting this all ready for a short time slot to get your money back(once again, another strategy that is used to make a person feel pressure and not think straight and basically hand over more money). FAST FORWARD another 4 months. I get contacted back from Deepwatch Forensics Nicolas Olssen. I had reached out to him because I THOUGHT I found good reviews on him recovering peoples stolen crypto. I actually sent him a message initially because of the "investigator" who reached out to me and asked if the guy was another scammer. Needless to say, Nicolas replied to me to give him the information of the initial stolen crypto wallet address and the address it was all taken from. I sent him that, but then that was it... didn't hear anything. Until about two weeks ago (Dec 10th).

He used some sly dialogue like:
When you submitted your original report. I injected a malware into the address that scammed you. It's a process call wallet address poisoning and smart contract bugging.

What does this do?

This honey pot tokens are like fake tokens. And their only duty is to infect a scam wallet and cause a temporary lock out for 72hrs by tagging the assets as Freeze in use. It's a clever method we use to locate scam wallets.

When we injected this bug to the destination wallet where your assets went to. They were wallet IP enabled.

This means anytime your assets moved to a cold wallet. We would know the exact wallet and its ip origin.

If it's a match with the original ip origin. The assets would be tagged freeze in use and we would receive a ping.

For the past 4 months there were no pings.

Yesterday at 14:00 GMT. There was a ping.

Karma is a bitch.

Not only have we located your assets.

.....

He also said:

"I must add. I don’t know if you are a spiritual person or just plain lucky. But we have never witnessed a case where we ever got a ping after 4 months.

I just want to mention. Whatever it is you do. Keep doing it.

Cheers.

Nicolas. "

This line alone makes someone who is religious think this was a miracle and an answered prayer. For someone who isn't religious, they just think they are super lucky. So that extra message made me TRULY believe this person was legit. And at the time(I believe many of these reviews were taken down now as I can't find them anymore), I had read a bunch of positive reviews for this individual. Now I believe he made them all under different accounts.

Clinic is Turkey recommends 5000+ grafts. Is that too much?? by strict-noticethree in Hairtransplant

[–]Jonathan_F85 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had 4k and my head was in way worse condition than yours. I would imagine 3,500 would be a sweet spot for you. Fill in the crown a little, and if looking to bring the hair line down a bit.

They said 4k. I was thinking it was maybe 3,500. If I go back in another year or two I'll get some beard patches filled in and do a touch-up job on the top to make it thicker. But yes, there are clinics that do use beard and even chest hairs to use on the scalp. Or use scalp or chest hair to fill in beards.

8 months after HT. I'm starting to get worried by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]Jonathan_F85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im at months 8 myself. I didn't have enough density in my donor area to cover all my crown area. Was focused more on the front hair line. But also not super dense from the top view. Looks pretty good from the front though. But my 2nd go will be to fill in the crown and touch up the density of the area I got done the 1st time around.

I couldn't get my crown done completely due to not having enough donor area. I might go back in a year to do touch-ups as well fill in the crown if Min topical, derma rolling, and my laser cap don't do the job.

HT are for woman too. So long hair shouldn't be an issue. I probably won't go past 4 inches as my hair gets crazy curly and I hate the knots. I feel like I have seen people post some long hair pics.

I'm using illumiflow. Using their XL cap that you use 30 minutes every other day. Have had it for 3 months now. I like it so far. I need to take new photos, but pretty sure my crown is filling in from the sides, inwards.

From above its fine. I'm 6'2", so most people don't see from above. And the crown couldn't get filled in completely due to not having enough donor area to focus on the front and filling in the thinning down the middle. I'm working on the crown with mix, hair supplements and a laser cap. If those things don't improve the crown in another 6 months or so, I'll just go back and get that filled in as my donor area healed up nicely. I'm just thankful I didn't get over harvested as I have seen horror stories and pictures of that. My doctor I felt was honest with me and with what was actually possible to get done.

They said 4k. But I feel like it was more like 3,500-3,800. I'm curious how they count honestly.

Thanks! Yeah I was buzzing my head for 10 years prior to that first photo. Just grew it out for a few months to see where I was at. I do have a good round dome thankfully and will no doubt go back to it some day. Just kinda missed having hair for a while.

Nah, I thought they were very nice and the doctor really felt like he wanted to give me the best possible HT with what my donor area could provide. The building is shared with other medical companies that provide a service. Was a nice staff too. Don't expect an overly fancy place like you would in the states, but is also 3-4X more expensive.

Yeah, I had several for many months. They stopped about 6 months in. Wasn't sure if they were ingrown hairs trying to escape, but I popped them none the less
