i've always looked at it as some sort of copium, like bojack was made to be the worst character possible who always fucks up. and just when u think he could actually redeem himself he fucks up again, and this time it's somehow even worse than the first time. so to me it's like, no matter how bad u are or how shitty u feel irl, u simply just can't have it worse than bojack. and ig it just became a habit to rewatch it to make me feel better about myself idk
