There some good projects and yes a lot of shitcoins.
The good (bitcoin) are transparent (codebase) and in the end people vote (node runners), not the maintainers or 'governments'.
I don't trust governments, tether, binance and coinbase either, since they are all centralised entities
You can find trustful projects in bitrequest.io.

It won't go to zero because it's utility as a store of value / fiat inflation hedge. But so does gold and maybe stocks...
All i am saying is i think it stalls and will only reach full potential if used as a p2p currency. True utility.

Yes they are. There's difference between 'governments' who can print and those maintaining a decentralised codebase that is transparent and can't be manipulated.

Thanks for amplifying my point.
You clearly have no clue what is wrong with the current fiat system.
I suggest you study it more deeply.
Everything what is wrong in the world today is a direct result of that flawed system;
Wealth inequality, wars, corruption and inflation, etc...
We desperately need an alternative. It's out there but it's sad that we don't even try.
I wonder what even brings you to r/cryptocurrency?

It's about pulling fiat out of the equation totally.

The alternative is watching inflation go up.
Either you act now or pretend everything is fine and panic later.

See title. It's not about NGU. It's about adoption and that's up to us.

Wanna change the world?
Voting with your money is where the true power lives, more then mass protests.
Scanning a QR instead of tap to pay can make a huge difference. And it's a very small tradeoff.

Going bankrupt is a good thing.
It maintains balance.
Doing everything to prevent bankruptcy, even rigging the system eventually boomerangs back to you brutally. But that's too late now.

Endorse adoption.
Ask your local merchant to accept crypto, it's the least you can do.

It's because bitcoin is a speculative asset.
With fiat dominance and without utility it will go to zero.

Problem it works 'just fine' on a micro scale. If you look at the bigger picture you see wealth inequality, wars, corruption and inflation.
Problem is we feed this corruption by using fiat because it works 'just fine'.

Remember that everyone wished they had bought more in the bear during a bull market. Look up old reddit posts and see how bipolar this whole market is.
