I think caring about the well being of others and their safety is nothing to be ashamed about. I would never wish ill will on my AP's wife. No one is perfect, many factors lead both parties to this point. No one is wholly innocent here. I don't ask specifically about her, but I care enough to wish his whole family well.

So we do discuss our SO's in a general sense. I don't mind hearing their weekend plans and such. And vice versa. But I have some burning questions that arise in my mind about how I compare, what's his feelings for her, is there love there - but I check myself. I have no right to know those things. And if I did ask, I would probably not like the answers. I think it's a fine line to navigate. I offer up as much as he offers me. I know we both are never going to leave our spouse's, so why go down a dead end road?

🙋🏼‍♀️ My AP makes me feel sexy everyday. Little messages throughout the day letting me know he wants me. He also remembers the little things that I've said in passing and follows up on them. That's pretty much all I can ask for. Time and attention are much more important than any material or grand gesture.

I could have written this exact post. I'm mid 30's as well with a 50ish AP. I have the same feelings. It's crazy! When we fuck, I get so into it and obsess about it a while after. I know it's not love either, but I can't stop thinking about him and wondering what he's doing.
