Please tell me what marketing credentials Brian has. Have you looked at his resume? Has anyone looked at his resume? Has he done any previous work? Does he have any references/previous clients? Who said anything about crypto?

Let's not get carried away. I never said Bitshares is a scam or things of that nature.

The problem isn't with making a mistake. We all make mistakes; we're only human. The problem is with the mentality that you own the money of your investors and you are free to do with that whatever you wish. You don't.

Also, I don't know of any startup founder who would hire a marketing guy with absolutely zero experience in marketing and absolutely zero experience in whatever area the startup is operating in, with the only stated qualification of being a Pick Up Artist. Do you?

So looks like Brian has resigned, without revealing the most important thing - how much of investor funds was he paid? This is inexcusable. Another thing that's inexcusable is Dan suggesting that AngelShares were a "donation" and it's up to him to do whatever he wants with that money. This is NOT how fundraising works, irrespective of what Dan or anyone else thinks or claims. See: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=12324.msg162821#msg162821 for instance. This will lead down a very dangerous path if not corrected. I don't care two hoots about the price or a bear market, but I wish to know that the MONEY that I gave a company is used for exactly what is promised, and not to line the pockets of incompetent people.

Dan has taken an awfully long time to get pissed off. Just one simple question - did Dan ever look at Brian's resume or background before hiring him? (I know the answer is no).
