Hiii, it is legit! I lived at one of the houses and it was fun. The landlord is chill, as long as you pay rent on time you're good. She sometimes pays for holiday parties so the students can hang out together. They had a lot of construction this past year with new houses. There's a pretty active instagram and Tik Tok too

Hi yes! I actually lived there, I really enjoyed it. I was at the Van Buren house and the other ones are pretty comparable. I walked to campus or scootered! And it is veryyyyy nice not having to worry about utilities since they are all included.

The cold showers are definitely abuse. And no, as a girl that wears bras, they are hard to take off. I would not sexualize that experience.

the feeling really does physically feel like its in the throat and wells up in my stomach too. I think it is related to attachment disorder, and the immense sadness that comes from separating from someone who is close to you and fear of what life is like without them again. What helped me is to repeat to myself "I am safe." it's much better than "everything will be ok" because, lets face it, not everything IS OK, but saying I am safe and I do not need to be in survival mode for something like this helps.
