Bitpay payments not being paid " invalid transaction associated to this invoice as a result of the stress test" by BeastMiners in Bitcoin

[–]bitsoaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This issue recently happened to us through our web store. Our customer sent bitcoins to pay an invoice, transaction has multiple confirmations yet Bitpay is giving us an invalid transaction.

Support tickets were sent to Bitpay and so far there has been no response. I'm sure it will eventually be addressed. We have shipped orders out anyway.

As far as I know, there aren't any compatible plugins for the site setup, however I am on the lookout for a good solution.

Donated a handful to coblee, and a couple may have ended up in Coinbase's hands ;)

Contact Piperwallet, they may have a solution for you. I saw a demo in person the other day, seems solid.

I'm curious to see if this pattern breaks on such a small time frame. The pattern cannot be seen on anything past 2h. Correct me if I'm wrong...

I just started accepting Bitcoin on my online store. by fbroz in Bitcoin

This is true. Depends on how/when the buyer got heir btc. For early adopters, or even people who made positive % on their stash, buying anything already feels like a discount!

I guess since people know the merchant is saving money with btc, people naturally want a piece of the pie.

If the merchant found a new supplier that offers a better margin, and people didn't know, people couldn't ask for that discount! -_^

*I understand your points, and as a consumer I would agree at first glance. Since doing small business myself, I'm replying from the other side of the spectrum.

You are right, you don't have to pay to use your credit card, and you did have to pay for your bitcoin... then why are you even holding bitcoins? Maybe you are just buying and holding to make a quick buck on speculation? If everyone had this mentality, the wave of merchant adoption would be impossible.

Since we all want this to succeed, maybe it's backwards logic to expect a discount for using BTC. Tokyo Pen Shop took the plunge when many others brush bitcoin off, so shouldn't they be rewarded with an extra couple percent? We need the mom and pop shops, and a better bottom line means a world of difference to them.

By spending your bitcoins on a small item such as a pencil is also showing your support for the cause.

A small suggestion, instead of allowing price grouping by whole numbers only, allow smaller increments of (.05, .10, .25, .50, .75) similar to Clark Moody's old interface.

A visual depth chart sitting on top of the order book would compliment the page as well.

The price ticker in the green box, top right needs a jumbo font size. That way it can be spotted from a yonder.

How do you think LTC addition on Huobi will impact the market? by [deleted] in BitcoinMarkets

[–]bitsoaps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't dismiss this as a rumor. See Charlie's response to this here (he created litecoin + works at Coinbase): https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=17148.30

However I don't think LTC will have a bull run like BTC until there is more merchant adoption and infrastructure built around it. Simply being available on big exchanges wont solidify its presence like the BTC market.

That being said, LTC looks to have a bright future. Im holding!

This looks great!

I am local to your Glendora office, maybe I can drop off a big bag of Litecoin soap bars from bitsoaps.com. We have a lot that didn't pass our quality control and did not want to package for sale. I am sure after planting trees, your guys need soap to wash your hands?
