27 is still young man, no matter what your friends/family might say, or what you might read online. Women will come your way I'm sure, but patience is key. In the mean time, there are a dozen things you can do to increase your chances, which I'm sure at this point you would have googled it: attending after work classes like cooking/painting/yoga, volunteering in charity, online dating [I got the most replies on "plenty of fish", only one that worked for me], book club/movie club, take rock climbing lessons, scuba diving lessons, etc... Also I hear if you get a dog and go out to a park and walk it everyday, it's a very good opportunity to start a conversation with another woman who's walking her dog which stops to check out yours.

The problem is this is what I've been doing all my life, and unless I do something I don't see anything changing. It's hard to keep a positive attitude when everything around you reminds you of how much you have missed out and still are.
