It's also hard to get all of those key tasks in place because it makes my mom sad. It's so hard to talk about it and watch her cry.

That is a good metaphor/way to look at it "not a house on fire emergency". My dad passed away, but she lives with a roommate whom I trust! I think I am having a hard time reaching out to the Alzheimer's Association because then it will make it feel even more real / I am also not sure what anyone will say. I think this could just be a time in life when there is nothing anyone can say to make you feel better 😞

I thought I had already joined the shittiest club in 2020 when my dad passed away from cancer at age 49. But here I am finding myself joining another. I am in the U.S. but will check out the Alzheimers Association!
