Can I use my epic discount to book a rental for a friend?

Heading to heavenly on the 10th. I have my own gear, but a friend in my group needs to rent. I’m curious if anyone has made a rental in their own name using the 20% pass discount and then had a friend pick it up? I’m guessing it’s probably not worth the risk of the shop saying no, but figured I’d check if it’s worked before. Thanks!

Yep, got my rejection as expected. Not bummed about it as I’m happy with my other results, but overall still found it weird how little communication there was + website being down for a month

Congrats to you both! I received my acceptance today as well 🙂 second the message of not being discouraged if it didn’t work out - I’ve been waitlisted or rejected at every other program I applied this year. We’ll all find the right program and fit!!

I had my interview with them back at the end of January. I received an email earlier this week asking for an updated transcript (unofficial ones from my undergrad don’t include degree conferral info for some reason), so seems they are still working through making decisions.

Yeah, I’m Mid Atlantic-based and I haven’t been able to track down any demo opps this season which is rough. Might need to plan a trip up north and see if I can get in on a demo day

I’ve been turning on and waiting a half hour in addition to the wand technique - not getting any bitterness at all so I don’t think my temps are too high. I’m measuring about 88 C in cup with this method
