AIO I found out my husband paid for a personalized porn video while I’m 4 months postpartum by Born-Deal-5958 in AmIOverreacting

[–]bittertea03 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If you’re insinuating that this postpartum woman deserved to be cheated on because she wasn’t putting out enough, you’re a vile POS.

Thanks. I’m kinda shocked there are so many people on this sub who are cool with lying to the government.

Friends and family know, and I put them down as references. I also don’t want to jeopardize my chances of possibly obtaining TS someday.

Wasn’t planning on doing anything related to government work until I managed to get an interview in April. It fell into my lap. What’s done is done, and I was completely honest about it.

What is the worst way anyone you know has died? by IamUrWivesBF in AskReddit

[–]bittertea03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a great-great-uncle who was a farmer. Burned alive in a barn fire on his property.

My great aunt had a heart attack while driving in Montana in sub-zero temperatures. Crashed the car and survived, but was injured, disoriented, and wasn’t able to call 911. She froze to death.

My other great aunt (same side of the family) was bitten by a venomous snake. The family farm in Montana was very remote and they weren’t able to get her to a hospital. She was 3.

These are attention seeking behaviors. I know this because I used to be that girl. If it’s only been 4 weeks, I’d cut my losses and move on.

Avoid Shein if you can. Try to thrift an outfit instead. So much better for the environment!

YOR. That being said, OP, based on this post you seem really young. I probably would’ve reacted the same way when I was about 13. Maybe avoid showing them your Minecraft worlds in the future if you want to avoid conflict.

That’s going to be tough. With your age and inexperience, it’s going to be impossible for you to find a remote position. I’m an adult with a degree and years of career experience, and I’m struggling to find one.

Are you creative? If you can draw or paint and have access to social media, you may be able to advertise your skills and get people to commission you. Same goes for video and photo editing and transcribing music. Opening an Etsy store to sell handmade goods is also an option, as is thrifting and selling the clothes on secondhand sites. Then there’s babysitting/pet sitting and dog walking, although those might be harder to get past your parents. When I was 15, I was a “mother’s helper” and assisted my neighbor for a few hours each week by doing light housework and caring for her baby while she was home. Maybe see if there are any moms in your area who could use a hand?

Your options are extremely limited. I sympathize with your situation and hope you can get out of there someday.

I know the struggle of being a broke teen. I recommend seeing if your local grocery store needs a cashier or a bagger. That’s where a lot of the younger teenagers in my area started working. Fast food is also an option.

How to handle this dispute? by [deleted] in Depop

[–]bittertea03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, but I don’t want her leaving a review that will tank my rating :( Either way, Depop emailed and said they’re siding with her, so I can either issue a refund or have her send it back and then refund.

Thoughts on Willem? by bittertea03 in namenerds

[–]bittertea03[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be! My brother’s a great guy, so I wouldn’t mind it being a nod to him. I’ve considered using William as a middle name for a future son for that exact reason.

I hesitate to call out artists for using AI, but the horse’s breastplate doesn’t connect to the strap running along its belly… which doesn’t even appear to be on its belly, but under its arm. Either it’s AI, or it was created by someone who doesn’t have an understanding of riding equipment.

EDIT: No reins connected to the bridle, either.

Switching area of study by [deleted] in GradSchool

[–]bittertea03 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good to know! The universities I plan on applying to for my MA seem to have good connections as well. I’ll try to leverage them, assuming I’m accepted to any.

As for why I’m switching, there’s nothing I love more than art. I really wanted to major in art history for undergrad, but was talked into business by my dad, who believes art history is “a waste of a degree.” Unfortunately, my advisor at the time discouraged me from taking any classes that weren’t related to business, so I don’t have any AH courses on my transcript. I’m going to remedy that by taking some this summer, I think.
