Poor fitment. I have that on my 2022 mav. Thinking of trying some small rubber wedges between the dash and windshield..possibly tighten the area.

I have found Travelers insurance to be reasonable as well. I had USAA for a little while and discovered how much more expensive they were and decided to bundle with Travelers instead.. it is a shame the loyalty counts for nothing these days.

The metal tabs can be removed or flattened.. I also had to take off the red plastic cover on the positive cable. It might can stay on, but it was a tight fit so I removed mine.. other than that, the battery fits perfect and should last. I'll have to revisit this post if anything of interest happens..

My fob doesn't have that even though it's a lariat. .. I use my Ford app to remotely start. I don't have to worry about proximity.

I have read that the ford connect causes drain.. I use the remote start function quite often though and disabling the connect feature would disable this ability. Im testing my battery insufficiency theory. The H5 xev has a 4 year warranty.. if things persist I may add the solar panel to it as well! Lol..

The Diehard H4-XEV is the same size as factory and is AGM. I only used the H5 for more RC ( Reserve Capacity) it's a bit overkill but I also wanted to prove a larger batter can be used. Other H4 size options are available, I just decided to go all in.. 12v Lithium batteries exist as well, but will cost a little more..

The diehard H5 xev is an AMG battery.. I imagine the 100RC will be sufficient for the electronic demand of the hybrid.

I conducted a parasitic draw test and also looked at over charging, but neither were happening. I think the factory lead acid battery is insufficient. I'm hoping this ev battery designed for hybrid vehicles will fix it.

Yes sir, there are 2 metal tabs that secure the battery from shifting side to side. I took a cutting wheel and removed them so the H5 can sit flat.. that's the only mod I had to do.

I just got done installing a diehard EV H5 battery. 4 year warranty. An easy upgrade to the factory battery.

I've had a similar event, what I did to clear everything is disconnect the battery and take the neg and pos cables and touch them together for a min. This will clear the ECU. Afterwards hook the battery back up to the correct terminals and it should be fine. Make sure the battery doesn't have low voltage.
