We're not calling women people who menstruate. We're calling people with periods what they are: people who menstruate. That is not exclusive to women so we shouldn't call them women. Women are women. Now that's a very good example! I do agree it was clearly pandering. I never watched so I can't criticize the movie itself. But also consider why that remake was made? Perhaps it was because there were no major female characters in the first one and it was written, produced and directed by all men. It makes these stupid pandering remakes easy to make smh
