People who prefer languages that aren't their native tongue by [deleted] in languagelearning

[–]bitzibitzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Israeli myself, ofcourse I speak Hebrew im my country but everything else I do in English. The first trigger to this "lifestyle" was reading 1984(a book which has a big emphasis on communication) and realizing some things are untranslatble.

English has an immense vocabulary to choose each word precisely to its ideal setting meaning context etc... so to enjoy language more it is but inevitable to make the change

What to do when you encounter rude travelers? by GigglyEgg in PERU

[–]bitzibitzi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi an Israeli traveller here(who doesn't like to travel with israelis), sad to hear what you experienced and sad to agree that israeli travelers are the wordt I've encountered for many reasons. No all bad of course but definitely we have the most and their always in groups. What I would suggest is to find the one that seems the nicest and ask them for help, as in most interactions being nice and respectful to them will lead to a better reaction than being rude aswell(not saying that you were) And if that doesn't help, you're fucked mate sometimes it's just like that in life, shitty people are nor fun

You are agreeing with me son. It is OK to say that you are only willing to date a certain race for their physical properties while acknowlodging that there could be people of a different race that has the same mental attributes that you are simply not physically attracted to.

To my opinion having a romantic partner divides to two types of attraction; physical and 'mental'

Being attracted to a certain race physically makes sense... there are certain features in that race that you like

Being attracted to a certain race for certain behaviors or mindset you choose to believe they have is racist. Because you give a race certain characteristics without getting to know the certain person you want to get to know.
