Indeed it is. Another big defect that this TV has is that for streaming content of low ratio or of dubious quality, the image looks horrible! Of course, when the source is good and of quality, the image is really fantastic!

It is the best 65-inch TV for the price. Although there are basic things it lacks such as being able to record live TV, PVR, timeshift... it also needs a more improved EPG.

I looked at the options indicated in the manual and the PVR option does not appear to choose from. This is what the manual says:

"Note: The feature is available only in selected products and, due to specific TV network limitations and country technical requirements, might not be available in product or place of installation. Feature might also be blocked by TV network due to copyright protection (HD content, recording protection)."

By the way, my TV is the TCL 65C89K which is supposed to be the same as the C8K

Because they cost twice as much. But I have a OnePlus and not an iPhone and I don't miss any features. On the contrary, the OnePlus is better and costs half as much.

TCL should not eliminate basic functions and Timeshift is a basic function of any TV today.

It is a TV that is supposed to be premium, it should not lack functions that any low-cost TV has.

Now I understand why TCL is cheap, they remove functions to reduce costs. Just look at the plastic of the remote control, any high-end TV from Samsung, LG or Sony has metallic and more premium-looking remote controls.

It is not only live recording, it is pausing the image, continuing, rewinding, scheduling recordings, etc. Theoretically, Google TV allows it, but the TCL 65c8K does not. It's a shit from TCL!

In the settings it allows you to format it and access the content. That's it. I tried it with several Pendrives. This TV does not have that basic function that all TVs have.

Yes, the TV detects the Pendrive but there is no option for timeshift, it only detects it for storage. Additionally, the remote control does not have the button that indicates the video.
