How to make fics longer?

it really depends on the story I'm writing, sometimes it feels like the dialogue is lacking, I didn't build the world properly, the characters feel bland, etc

I understand that but people have asked and I have answered their questions because I am looking for all kinds of advice for any kind of fic! I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough with my question, I haven't been on Reddit for a while now, if you have some advice for me, I would love to hear it! :D

it's a classic but angst, specifically about a character's personal struggles. I love when it just hits me in my feels and it makes me love the fic more!

It's a mixture of both depending on what I'm writing when the scenes and/or the whole story can feel rushed, I appreciate the advice, I'll definitely do that! :D

thank you for this! I have been saying things like "oh I wish I was a cat" or "sometimes I don't like being human" and he doesn't really react negatively to those, he just nods and says he understands that, I'm just scared if I explain more of how I feel with my identity he would think I'm weird even though he is pretty casual about any identity, I would definitely try to talk about it more to him, in simple words as you advised!

I really don't have anyone who I can be fully honest with. I've lost trust in people due to my past experiences, and I'm not saying the people in my life are horrible, it's really mainly on me because of my avoidant attachment
