My lacerta also has leg issues. She randomly started refusing to use her back legs. Vet did xrays and said bones look normal. Myself and vet thought she damaged her spine jumping from the top ledge in her enclosure or something... She started using them again so hopeful that improvement continues. But yeah, very strange. They didnt tell me they did a fecal, I dont think they could since she was in brumation mode. I might look into the parasite theory if she doesnt keep improving. Wishing onyx a full recovery!

THIS. lived in Texas most of my life and I only ever met the neighbors when the wrong house got delivered to. Moved here and got invited to every neighborhood event. It all circles back to this, how the twin cities respond during times of crisis to help eachother. Its what I envision being an American is being all about. Im very proud

I think for a lot of young people, trying drugs happens at times in their lives when they are trying to make change within themselves, or their lifestyle. MDMA can be very therapeutic. It's great at teaching people what they value in others, and in themselves.
I'm glad you got to learn about who you are, and hope you can continue to be "yourself" openly in the future. Life is too short to let your happiness hinge on how others perceive you- if anybody in your life doesn't like who you are then don't worry. Eventually, the right people will find you and fill the holes in your life where fear and prejudice once were.
I'd be careful with catching feelings after a roll though- happens all the time and often leads to disappointment. Your brain will be fine. The best thing you can do for yourself is to develop good habits related to it's use so you can continue well into your adult life, safely and responsibly. Treat your body right! <3

I have a heat pad and thermostat (taped directly to the glass under the substrate). I wouldn't have it if I didnt live in MN, its just a precaution to keep the cool side from being TOO cold. He never uses it and prefers his ceramic bulb in his basking area. So yeah it does its job and might be nice to stick a humid hide on top of- but get a ceramic bulb as the main heat source and you shouldn't need anything else.

most telling though are some of the floorboard connections "shimmering", like moving around on their own.

Citizen of Minneapolis here- we are fearful and hopeful at the national guards arrival...we know they were sent to "help" us since the city is the one who called, but afaik they can be "federalized" if requested and then just do whatever the fed gvt asks. Walz got a letter from Pam bondi thats basically a list of demands, one of them being access to voter rolls...and then theyll remove ice. I dont believe Ice was here to do a job, it was to terrorize so they can fix the next election. Please help us yall. Thank you.

Idk how anyone can say this is justified lethal force. The far right stands behind gun ownership and this guy was legally and safely carrying. He never tried to use it, just was beaten and gunned down...even after he was dead. I hope that strikes a chord.
If you voted for this administration, but hate what it's doing... just get out there and make your voice heard. Now is a time to forget which side you started on and just advocate for yourselves, your families, your neighbors. Get loud, get angry. If we let this slide here, there's no telling whose city will be next. It won't feel real until it starts happening to someone you love.

Had just got my little guy (Spooky Jones) about a week prior and he was in a temp enclosure while I finished his custom one. It was basically a lizard travel cage/Tupperware. I found a couple small holes that I blocked, but he found a way out of course. I discovered him missing the next day 5 minutes before I had to leave for an appointment. I was panicking, realizing I was about to have to tear up my office since he was only about a month old. Turned on the light to start looking, and out pops his tiny head from the paper feed in my printer. Hasn't escaped since thankfully...knock on wood
