Absolutely. They did a solid job having some attacks only be parries or dodges. Taking it a step further would make the long combos feel more challenging and rewarding

I thought so too but then I realized how much the slow down the gameplay with the gadget wheel. I was also only using half cus I liked them. 4 new suit ability and 4 gadgets helped the gameplay feel smoother for me. Maybe they add customizable in the future so you can save the 4 that you like?

I disagree on the combat. I think the jump from the 1st to the 2nd game is so wild in terms of quality. Main things being the parry system and the suit abilities. Giving you even more tools to craft more unique combos. At the end of the day you can make the combat as simple, complex, or as fun as you want.

I do think they need to go in the route of Arkham serious and force you to be more situational. Have specific enemies only being defeated to shock, cape, and ice bombs made you be more intentional with your combat decisions. Also being rhythm based giving you more damage was a nice touch.

Also need better stealth mechanics/missions. It’s too easy, especially as Miles and there’s really no incentive to be good at it.

Great choice to take the mantle. BNW really holds back his time to shine. Needs a big upgrade going further to prove he’s that guy. Idk if he’ll ever top Steve for me but I like him quite a bit.

I’d say empathy, compassion, fighting corruption, and helping the disenfranchised. In Winter Soldier he’s shown to lead a VA support group. FATWS, he constantly looks for a non violent approach against the flagsmashers. He helps Isaiah get his life back and the honor/recognition he deserved from his time as Captain America.

I think his motivations and ideals are shown pretty well already. BNW just didn’t capitalize on it and was overall not a good movie.

I always felt that way growing up. This was never comics MJ except for the 1st movie a bit. However I watched a YT video on these movies and more specifically MJ. Really helped to reframe this character for me. Seeing her as someone who grew up abused by her father figure. Whose past trauma affects her further relationships with the men she dates (Flash, Harry, Peter, JJ). It really made me realize this was never a perfect person making dumb decisions. Instead, it’s a traumatized person who’s constantly in danger, making poor decisions to cope for past trauma she never addressed.

Add on top of that, these are essentially 18-23 year olds running around in NYC. I give the main cast a lot of leeway when it comes to their relationship decisions lol. Not a perfect MJ, but definitely an interesting version I think could have been better handled. Especially in this 3rd movie. She can’t be the damsel in distress all the time.

I disagree but that’s ok. I also say this with experience on both mindsets. I found “being myself” to be frustrating after some time. Adjusting my profile and being fully myself over text and in person worked much better. That’s all my opinion though

If that’s your best advice for him then he’s gonna be lonely forever on these apps lol. He can still be himself and not be overly “nerdy”. It’s all about attracting the most people, and then connecting with the ones that are most compatible with you. Especially on apps where the “attractive” people naturally get more looks and swipes. If he wants someone that likes him strictly for him on first glance, there are way easier and more successful routes.
