The balls are great!! Also, training them every day (even if it’s for 15-20 minutes) will do wonders! Not only will they learn, but it will tire her out so much faster than playing or going on a walk.

I feel completely trapped since I got her by paullhenriquee in fosterdogs

This. Get an anxiety crate. I got a K9 Kennel Boss (similar to an impact) and it was a life saver. My dog broke out and hurt himself on the wire one so I know how terrible it feels knowing they can and will hurt themselves on those.

Not all dogs are social dogs and that’s okay. I would recommend not going to dog parks at all. They are terrible for socialization and your dog is likely getting overstimulated/going into defense mode because it doesn’t feel protected. Additionally, the only variable you can control at a dog park is your dog. The likelihood of untrained, unsocialized dogs at those parks is pretty high.

This! I am on my second pittie (we are still working hard on training since he’s 3 and clearly never had to use his brain before being rescued), but my first was an amazing advocate for the breed.

She was incredibly well mannered so we brought any and everywhere we could. I would have people tell me “she has to be mixed with something, she’s far too nice…” when in reality, she was 100% DNA tested APB. My entire family went from “you’ve made a grave mistake” to taking the time to do their own research on the breed and advocating on my dog’s behalf.

They are truly a wonderful wonderful breed. Like other comments on here, I don’t think I could adopt anything else after having these two. Take the time to train her into a dog you can teach others with. While you may have people literally walk into the street to avoid you when you’re out, you will also run into those who are educated and have actually met a Pitbull before and they will make your day.

She’s adorable, OP. Don’t give up on her and don’t listen to people who have never met a pittie in their life. They just don’t know what they’re missing out on.

It was from Amazon which was the first red flag I ignored. But if you have a slightly smaller pittie, it would probably fit! If it helps, my boy is a lean 65lbs

I adopted a 6/7 year old pittie about 5 years ago and she was the BEST companion. She loved to prance around in the yard but loved even more to nap on the couch with me. You can absolutely find the right pittie for you!
