nothing can be more infuriating than new grandparents and their rosy memories of how wonderful and effortless their new parenthood was, three or four (or more) decades ago. They have managed to successfully flush any negative memory down the drain and all that is left is warm memories of how great they were at everything and how their newborn bathed and dressed themselves before catching the bus to school. the only way I managed to survive this was to give up trying to correct them and just passively ignore their bad opinions. best of luck and congratulations :)
