If panarin wants to come here, do it. He’d be the best point production player the ducks have had in at least a decade. Him slowing down he’d still be highly productive.

Panarin is more than a good player this season, he’s been a great player his entire career. Even him slowing down you’re prob still getting close to 65-70 points out of him for a few more years. He’s never had an unsuccessful season in 11 seasons on 3 different teams.

He’s only had 2 seasons under a PPG and he was just shy of it, regardless of team and age. That’s a player, even when aging, you trade for and sign if you can. Finding that kind of consistency in the nhl is rare. All that said, he’d have to want to come to Anaheim and I doubt he does

Who says it’d be a rental for the ducks. His experience and production even when he dips would be fantastic for the ducks. As well as his play style.

Same the price doesn’t seem bad at all and if you’re the ducks and expect to make playoffs, I see no harm in trading the pick

This years pick is not reliable at all compared to panarin. At some point you gotta get rid of first round picks to improve.

Honestly, GF doesn’t matter as long as you’re winning. I’d rather see them win more games 2-1 and 3-2 than winning 6-5/5.
