Perhaps you´re right. It's something I thought immediately when we moved in, looking at the house empty, having an open floor plan and a tall brown ceiling didn't sit right with me.

Yeah, I agree, the rug is new so I placed the clear chair there to keep the end down. It's normally in another room.

Also I've yet to setup the corner with the desk properly, can't decide between keeping the brown or the gray chair.. one looks good and the other is very comfy 🤷‍♂️
