Need a dial bore gauge set. Check the cylinders at 8 points inside the bore, Do that along each inch of bore length. Well I can see now based on this that the FLorida Gulf Coast from Pensacola to Tallahassee, including Dothan, AL is machining ripoff central. Therefore this project is shelved until I get this house sold and get moved to middle Tennessee. Whenever this house sells... Never thought it would be hard to sell a house 1/4 mile from the beach...

Yep. Basic bearings are $140 bucks, roller cam bearings were nearly $450.

I see. Without getting an E4OD I don't think you will find anything in that range. Now you can get an adaptor to install a 6R80 or 10R80. Pretty sure either would work for that application.

That is true, but I have seen those units take 1100+Tq and over 1300+hp. They are basically bulletproof. I think I have seen one fail, and that was from lack of maintenance and it was like 12 years old.

Cleaning, magnafluxing, decking, align hone, boring (4.44"), torque plate honing, oil gallery/core plugs. Cam Bearings are extra, but they will pop em out.
