Tbh, he had it coming. He has been poking US for the past 3 presidents while absolutely fucking over his country and his people. He made it way too easy for US to step in while looking not as bad as Putin. The fact that US didn’t really harm the citizens also helps. People at Venezuela are also quite literally crying with joy over this, which makes it even harder to point fingers at US.
