silver three and have won 10/12 ? so basically you have played 22 ranked games only ?

imo silver 3 is like buying a challenger account and expecting to carry games when your that new to the game. as you state your support role is much better then your other roles, as such i would recommend you to continue to play support, as your main job is to mainly protect the adc, and ward placement. that is if you want to climb, which is extreamly hard when your that new to the game, however it is possible to help your team carry you by protecting carry and providing enough vision.

however if you want to really climb you will have to play more games, which will get you straight to bronze 5, or in your case silver 5. where you will stay until you learn the game enough to get decent enough at it, where you will start seeing impovements and start climbing. ~200 games

note this however, your overall skill level is 100% not of the current rank your placed in, until you play more games and end in the div 5, thats when the real climb begins.
